So in 2015 my grandfather passed away - he was a lovely man who was a determined bastard right until the end. Some how I think that characteristics can be passed down because he certainly gave me the determination to do what I want to do. So why not start your own company? If you can't find opportunities make them for yourself. And that's what I am doing. In 2016 I decided to start up my own company putting on two shows in a theatre. I want to make opportunities and I want to have fun!
I got 7 of my most amazing and talented friends to help me build my company just from scratch.
Grace is someone I have known for a year now and she is one of the most talented, hardworking people I know and from the day I met her we both knew we wanted to start a company together - we were going to call it the "Daisy and Grace" Theatre Company. How original, no? Grace is a talented performer, writer and director and I am so happy she agreed to help me with this company.
Gemma - Gemma is someone you want to be friends with just simply because of her passion. She has amazing ideas which I have no idea where they come from. Me and her bounce off each other with ideas and it escalates to a huge hard working performance.
James - I have known James for about 3 years now, he is one of my best friends. He is just so lovely and has a unique perspective on things. He works so hard and I was delighted once he agreed to do this project with me.
Chloe - Now I have only known Chloe for 5 months but she has a huge work ethic. She is one of the people that I want to be in my group because I know she will do her best at anything. She has a drive like no other and she astounds me every time.
Sam is just Sam. Again I have only known Sam for 5 months but in those 5 months I have seen amazing performance after amazing performance. He is just plain awesome! He has a different creative angle that really builds when we work together.
Ellie is one of my most gorgeous friends. Throughout our time at Secondary school together I always wanted to work with her but never did. I have seen her perform in so many shows and every time I see her perform I either cry or laugh. She is just such a talented performer who I couldn't not have in my Company.
And finally, TJ. TJ is different in many ways, none bad. He has his own youtube channel which is comedy genius! He is a wonderful actor who I have never had the delight of working with but have had the honour of watching. He is funny and smart and someone that I knew straight away I wanted to be in this company.
All of these people are people that I trust and value because they are talented and wonderful in their own way. And I was honoured that they would even consider to be a part in my production company.
